African Studies association was organised for 5 days at Atlanta from 28th Nov 2018 to 2nd Dec 2018. It focuses to provide knowledge about the various Business Services in Africa to the visitors from around the globe.It covered areas like ACLS fellows are engaged in developing new knowledge which will benefit the understanding of the world.

For the annual meetin of the ASA in Atlanta 2018, much attention was paid on 'energy'-it's production,extraction,distribution and exchange-as a heuristic to understand Africa's past and imagine its future. Many related issues around the country were discussed in the meeting and steps to find a solution to them were also discussed.
