People are extremely complex beings. More so, are the people who have special behavioural health needs. These patterns influence them largely in life, and sometimes, can be a factor in committing crimes. The National TASC works with the agenda of bringing large number of people from across the country to actively learn about the latest findings and developments in the treatment and rehabilitation of people with behavioral health needs, including juvenile offenders, substance-abusing adults, to name a few. The TASC members are professionals who provide novel treatment, insights, policy recommendations, and advocate healthy rehabilitation of such individuals back into society.

TASC believes in connecting referral and service systems through screening, assessment, handling of the case, correct treatment, and advocacy. With a unique and comprehensive methodology, TASC provides technical assistance and consultation to local, state, and federal agencies who are looking for refining the justice system via treatment. Substance abuse treatment systems are incorporated with criminal justice systems which makes both the systems and offenders answerable. This is because of the client-specific case management. This greatly enhances the ease with which individuals with behavioral health needs can be treated and rehabilitated.
