The New York Empire State Tattoo Expo organised by ‘Inked’ is aimed at bringing the best tattoo artists from around the world together under one roof. At the Empire State Tattoo Expo, you will not only get an opportunity to have a face to face interaction but also get to connect with eminent artists of the sector. The Empire State Tattoo Expo also has an incredible line-up of keynote tattoo artists attending this event. The list includes artists like Stefano Alcantara, Paul Booth, Nikko Hurtado, Carlos Torres, Michael Hussar and Jess Yen to name a few.Competitions remain at the heart of the Expo event and will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The attendee can enter any competition as long as the tattoo fits into the chosen category but entering more than three contests will not be allowed. The events will commence with the tattoo competition registrations followed by the main competition, judging and announcement of the winners. The day wise break-up of the event is explained further. The competitions held on Friday include Best color portrait, Best sleeve, Best chest or back, Best black and grey portrait, Best of the Day Contest.The line-up of the events on Saturday are Best small colour, Best large colour, Best small black and grey, Best large black and grey, and Best of the Day. On Sunday, the competition includes Best traditional, Best cover-up, Best original, Best of Day and Best of Show. All the winners of the respective competition will receive one of its kind customised award that will be presented on the main dais.
Empire State Tattoo Prices
There are two types: The daily pass will cost you USD 30 while the Weekend Pass will cost you USD 60. There is additional 5-10% fee as convenience fee. The tickets are available on eventbrite this year.
