Rotary International is a global service organization with a purpose to spread goodwill and peace around the world by bringing together business leaders. It focuses on enforcing the ethical standards of business and providing humanitarian services. The Rotary International Convention is an annual meeting organized by the Rotary Club in different parts of the world. It is a centennial celebration for the 1.2 million members of the club. The convention follows the club’s motto of “Service before Self” and encourages friendship and fellowship. Rotarians in huge numbers share their experiences and success stories for cheering more partnerships across the world. Every convention is themed on a particular aspect of the city or country it is organized in. 

The 3 – 7 days event witnesses an audience of more than 50,000 people. It is a reflection of Rotary’s internationality as a global service organization. The convention is for bringing fellow members together in the exchange of ideas and discovery of new avenues for service. The meeting includes general sessions, breakout sessions and house of friendship to spread and promote the club’s objective. The 2017 convention is significant and a major celebration for two reasons. First, it will mark the 100 years of the International Rotary Convention. The first edition of this convention was held in 1917 in Atlanta itself. Secondly, it marks the Rotary President’s birthday as well. 

There are many sessions from inspirational and entertaining speakers to help the audience polish their skills in communication and leadership.
